Radha Datta

Radha Datta is the Creative Director of Aakhya India.

Radha Datta is an artist and visual strategist whose work bridges the worlds of communication, research and design. She brings a decade of experience translating institutional narratives into compelling visual and textual forms, working across government, corporate, and cultural sectors. 

Her projects span collaborations with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, UN Women, and the President’s Office, where she has created coffee table books, digital campaigns, and visual archives. Notable work includes documenting the New Parliament Building for Tata Projects, restoring the Rashtrapati Bhavan Photo Archive, and designing publications celebrating women leaders and environmental conservation. 

Radha began her professional journey at Invest India, where she led brand communications and CSR documentation initiatives. She has also collaborated with Facebook India as a module leader for Voice Positive, mentoring university students to design social media campaigns that counter violent extremism. 

She studied at the Arts University Bournemouth, earning a Bachelor’s degree with Honours in Fine Arts and Photography, and later attended the Parsons School of Design in New York for her Master’s in Fine Arts, graduating with Departmental Honours. Her interdisciplinary approach combines research and design to craft communication that is both meaningful and accessible.
