Brajesh Kumar is Senior Director at Aakhya India.

A veteran journalist and an experienced communications head, Brajesh brings over two decades of expertise across the fields of media, journalism, and communications. In his career, he has worked closely with key government sectors and big corporate clients, cultivating new strategic partnerships. 

At Aakhya, Brajesh has been at the helm of PR and Communications for different state governments like UP, Gujarat and Bihar, liaising with various CMOs offices and information departments. He has set up and led teams across centres and worked on growth initiatives for the company. 

Brajesh started his professional run as a journalist working for mainstream publications like the Hindustan Times, DNA, & India Today, and switched to the field of communications in 2016. As a risk-taking reporter, he covered the intricate world of politics and enforcement agencies, while also writing on the social sector. Brajesh won the Press Council of India's National Award for ‘Rural Journalism’. 

When not busy with crisis management, Brajesh likes to spend his time working out at the gym or cooking for his friends and family.
